Ms. Rwehera coordinates one of the largest and quality scholarship programmes of IUCEA, the EAC Scholarship Programme. The Programme promotes the Regional Integration by creating qualified professionals with expertise in their subject fields and a strong understanding of regional challenges and approaches who will act as highly skilled change agents. This is done through master’s scholarships to nationals of the EAC member states studying outside their native country within the Region, in the areas of STEM, Informatics and Business Science. Special consideration is given to female students.

She has over 15 years working experience with higher education organizations such as IUCEA, the University of Burundi, “Université Lumière de Bujumbura” (Light University of Bujumbura) and Hope Africa University in the areas of project management, academia and administration.

Ms. Rwehera holds a master’s degree in business administration (Finance) from Daystar University, Kenya. She is fluent in French, English and Swahili.
