Regional Centre of Excellence in Embedded and Mobile Systems Hosted by Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) The Centre of Excellence will addresses three fields of intervention: a) Establishment of a need-driven postgraduate Master’s programmes in Embedded and Mobile Systems in East Africa, which is offered as part of the East African-German university partnership (East African Centre of Excellence for ICT); b) Gearing the courses and services of the universities towards the needs of the private and public sector in East Africa c) Regional networking.
The MSc in Embedded and Mobiles has been accredited by TCU, and The CENIT@EA has awarded 58 Scholarships of which 25 are in year 2019/2020 and 33 in year 2020/2021 of which 32% are Female for two intakes.
