BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN BIDDING

Supply, delivery and installation of network equipment & accessories for IUCEA Phase II building – IUCEA/PROC/SUPP/2025-26/002

  1. IUCEA has allocated/and received funds East Africa Partner States to be used for the acquisition of network equipment & accessories for IUCEA Phase II building
  2. IUCEA invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above
  3. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the IUCEA Procurement Policies and Procedures 2024.
  4. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding documents at the address given below at 8(a) from 8:00hrs to 17:00hrs from Monday to
  5. The bidding document in English is uploaded on IUCEA, EAC and other EAC Institutions websites. Upon perusal through the bidding document, interested bidders shall submit a written application to the address below at 8(b) and after payment of a non-refundable fee of USD: 20 (United States Dollars Twenty only). For payment, interested bidders can remit funds to beneficiary’s name: The Inter University Council for East Africa, beneficiary account number: 2203252049, beneficiary bank: KCB Bank Uganda Limited and Swift code: KCBLUGKA. Thereafter, submit a scanned bank slip or proof of EFT to the official email: exsec@iucea.org, and a soft copy of the receipt shall be sent immediately. For local firms, you may deliver your bank slip or proof of EFT to IUCEA Reception and get your receipt filed and be recorded in the Record of issue of bidding document and other documents from Administration Unit.
  1. Bids must be delivered to the address below at 8(c) at or before Tuesday, 3rd February 2026 at 10:00 Hrs (East Africa time). All bids must be accompanied by Bid Security and shall be 1% of the bidder’s bid price and in USD The bid security shall be a bank guarantee from Bank regulated by Central Bank of the bidder’s country. Bid securities must be valid as the bid validity period of One Hundred Twenty (120) working days after the date of bid submission and opening. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below at 8(d) on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at 10:30 Hrs (East Africa time)
  2. There shall be pre-bid meeting on Tuesday 20th January 2026 at 11:00am at IUCEA main board room 1st
  3. (a) Inspection of bidding document at: Not applicable(b)     Record of issue of bidding document: Administration Unit upon presentation of receipt issued from Accounts.

          (c)      Bids must be delivered to: Main Reception before 3rd February 2026 at 10:00 Hrs

         (d)     Address of Bid Opening: Main Boardroom, First Floor on Tuesday 3rd February 2026 at 10:30 Hrs (East Africa time)
